Video calls upgraded!
Video calls are now accessible to multiple parties, on web and mobile.
Highlights
Multiple participants: Multiple people can join a call. There are no practical limits. You can bring your colleagues, and patients can bring their partners (and anyone they’d like to share the link with).
Screen sharing: share your screen with all participants on the call.
Accessible everywhere: participants can continue to join from the app, but now calls are accessible to anyone with access to the anonymous link. A patient might join from a computer - best for screen-sharing. Their partner can join via mobile browser, without needing to install the app. We want to make it as easy as possible to rely on wawa for your video-calling needs, and that meeting your patients where they are!
Calendar: join directly from a calendar event.
Chat: you can join directly from a chat message, too.
Notable changes
It is no longer possible to use wawa in “picture-in-picture” mode on the web. It would be impractical to keep this functionality with multiple participants.
