Pre-defined protocol templates (Early access)
You can now Pre-define protocol templates to ensure standardisation and quality with fewer manual steps

With Pre-defined protocol templates you can now create standard protocols for each treatment type.
What you can do
Add steps like “Day 1 Check-In” or “Consent Form Signing” automatically
Reduce risk of human error and avoid paper checklists
Align care teams with consistent, quality-assured workflows across cycles
Give patients a clearer sense of their treatment plan

How to set up and use Pre-defined protocol templates
Step 1: Access the Cycle Settings
1. Navigate to the Settings page.
2. Go to the Cycles panel.
3. You’ll see a redesigned page that displays all treatment types and protocols in a clearer format.
Step 2: Choose a Treatment Type and Protocol
1. Click on a cycle type (e.g., IVF) or create a new cycle type.
2. You’ll see a list of available protocols (e.g., IVF Long).
3. Add a new protocol or choose a protocol to edit.
Step 3: Add Automation Items to the Protocol
Within the protocol editor, you can add automation items:
Appointments:
- Specify cycle day for the appointment (e.g., Day 2).
- Choose the appointment (e.g., Intro Call, Video Consultation).Medication:
- Add medications by defining start day, duration, and dosage.Consents:
- Add required consent forms to be completed during the cycle.Tests:
- Add tests by defining which tests are done on which days.
Save the protocol once all automation items are added.
Step 4: Apply the Protocol to a Patient Cycle
1. Go to the Patients page.
2. Select a patient.
3. Navigate to the Cycles section.
4. Select a cycle type to start from the list.
5. The cycle will populate with appointments, medications, consent forms, and tests.
Notes on Functionality
- Protocol items serve as guidelines, not strict requirements.
- You can modify or add new items anytime.
- Changes in the settings page will only affect new cycles going forward.
